About ChromaQuest

Welcome to ChromaQuest, a colorful world where learning meets imagination!

Designed for children ages 6–10, ChromaQuest helps young adventurers explore their emotions, focus, and empathy through color-powered mini-games and friendly ChromaBeasts.

Each island represents a part of emotional growth, from focusing attention and recognizing feelings to building friendships. As players learn, they discover new colors, and strengthen skills like self-regulation, emotional awareness, and kindness.

ChromaQuest was created using research in UI/UX design and color psychology, blending thoughtful design with playful interaction. Every hue, button, and animation is built to help kids not only play, but also understand how they feel.

Through ChromaQuest, my goal is to bridge education and imagination. Creating a digital space where kids can learn emotional awareness and self-regulation while having fun. Every island, color, and ChromaBeast character is designed with purpose, to help children recognize their feelings, build empathy, and grow through play. ChromaQuest reflects my belief that design isn’t just about how things look, it’s about how they make people feel.

“Exploring emotions through every hue” isn’t just the tagline. It’s a design philosophy that celebrates curiosity, empathy, and growth through color.

The Creator

Hi! I’m Jessica Grace Uson, the creator and designer behind ChromaQuest, an educational web experience that helps children explore emotions, focus, and empathy through color and play.

As a designer, I’ve always been fascinated by the power of color and interaction, how the right visual choices can shape emotion, engagement, and learning. This project grew from my research on

UI/UX design in color psychology and its impact on social-emotional learning for children ages 6–10.
